Lori Kidd has been working for the Memorial Healthcare System for past 5,586 days. Lori began her career at Memorial in May of 2004 (for those of you who cannot calculate that quickly). She began her role as Practice Manager for the new Breast Cancer and Breast Surgical Programs at Memorial. Lori’s background was in medical management and Lori was afforded the opportunity to have a hand in helping build and roll out the new Breast Oncology and Breast Surgical Programs. She served as Practice Manager for both programs from 2004 – 2008. In March of 2009 Memorial had developed another new program for Cancer patients. This program was special to Lori’s heart. It was a place of hope and healing. A place where patients could come for personalized services to help them adjust with the physical and emotional changes due chemotherapy, radiation therapy and surgery. Lori expressed her desire to manage this program and was awarded the opportunity in 2009. Shortly after starting her role as manager, she became board certified in mastectomy fittings through the American Board of Orthotics and obtained her Lymphedema certification. Today, Lori and her staff serve over 1,500 patients per year. Lori expresses her gratitude for the ability to help others and to serve our community.
